Jenny laid her head back on the wall and sighed "well thats that," said Jenny to the empty room "all packed up and ready to go."
Jenny waltzed out of the house and into the bright sun of the day.
Her friend Mary ran up to her. "I can't believe your moving!" Mary exclaimed.
"Well we're not moving to Tulsa yet,"stated Jenny. Mary gave her a weird look. "you see we have to go to L.A. to meet the client, and my mom has to do some court work there so she gets off the plane then on another plane while some guy named Ike or Walker pickes me up at the airport." Jenny informed.
"wow, how long are you going to be in L.A.?" Mary asked
"I don't know," replied Jenny,"a week or two,they are musicians and are recording or something."
"cool," bubbled Mary
"Well....yeah," said Jenny,"My mom's client has 7 kids!,one is my age"stated Jenny.
"boy or girl?"asked Mary.
"boy,"said Jenny raising her eyebrows.
"wwoooohhooo,"said Mary,"Well if you like start going out with him contact me A.S.A.P.!"
Jenny chuckled,"ok"
"well email and call me anyway.....got it?" asked Mary.
"got it!" said Jenny as she steped into the car.
Mary and Jenny said one last good-bye and waved as Jenny and her mother drove away.
It was just Jenny and her mother. Jenny was the only child and her father had died when she was only five years old.
Her mom had become a laywer and made big bucks, so it wasn't that big of a deal moving. Well nothing financial.
Jenny thought about all the people that had said good-bye to her. People she hardly knew made cards. Jenny chuckled at the thought of those poeple.
I'm really going to miss my friends Jenny thought as she let out a long sigh.
Jenny felt a wet tongue on her cheek and smiled. "yeah I love you too,Kari" Jenny said smiling to her dog.
Her mother had gotten her the dog,for a Christmas present last year.
